He is survived by: his son Gary (Nancy Foust Phillips); his wife Jolene Phillips; his brother Larry Phillips of Roseburg; his daughters, Kristi (Erick Russell) and Gleanna (Luis Avila); and his grandchildren, Kayla (Trace Ader), Nathan Phillips of Milton-Freewater, Josie Phillips of Athena, Luisito Avila of Canby and Catalina Foust. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
