She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Swatsenbarg and Ruby Swatsenbarg; her husband Emery Hinkley; her sister Sharon; and her children, Kimberly Shannon and Jonathan David.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Whaley and Samuel Brakebill; and her brothers, Steven, Richard and William Swatsenbarg. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
