He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John R Swanson Sr. and Florence Henslee Swanson; his former wife Cornelia; his son Johnny; and his wife Cathryn E. Mishler. He was also cherished by his granddaughter, daughter-in-law, 4 step-children and several nieces and nephews.
