Roy A. Thayer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy A. Thayer (Hood River, Oregon), born in Steamboat Rock, Iowa, who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Thayer and Edna Bell Thayer; his wife Edna Irene Hoyt; and his children, Joleen Paradis, Peggy Jo Menasco (David), Sylvia Williams (Roger), Dale Thayer and Joy Thayer. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Due to COVID19 the family is postponing the Celebration of Life for Roy and Edna.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Roy Thayer to Heart of Hospice Foundation (C/O Anderson's Tribute Center 1401 Belmont Ave. Hood River, OR 97031).
