She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Larry Young and Laura Young of Hood River; her husband Mike Weathers; her daughter Darcie Ahrendt (Richard) of Oregon City; her grandson Payton Ahrendt of Dover; and her sisters, Barbara Stein (Kirk) of Oregon City and Mary Stiles (Steve) of Nevada. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, and life-long friends.
