He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Bernklau and Gertrude Bernklau; and his siblings, Carol Carter, Jim Bernklau and Dave Bernklau.
During this year of COVID, he also attended their Zoom coffee hour. Following major spine surgery in 2010, he was able to recover and live independently for ten more years on his beloved Pharm.
However, recently, complications from Parkinson's and congestive heart failure caught up with him.
