She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Maria V. Garza Esparza; her parents, Pedro Garza and Carolina Quintania; her husband Roberto Esparza; her daughters, Norma Esparza and Nelda Gastelum; her grandson Robert Gastelum; and her children, Velma Macias (Ernie), Robert Esparza (Beth) and Roger Esparza (Shelby). She was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
