He was predeceased by: his son Lynn Brotherton; his grandson Charlie Brotherton; his sister Alice Harvey; his brother-in-law Frank Harvey; and his brother Riley McBride.
He is survived by: his grandparents, Rosa and Manuel; his children, James Brotherton, Edwin Vieira, Rick Vieira, Sharon Vieira, Vicki Swindler and Art Swindler; his grandchildren, Eric Vieira, Cecilia Vieira, Shawn Brotherton, Trina Brotherton, Charla Raven, Michelle Sharp, Richard Sharp, Amelia Swindler, Amber Vieira, Andy Swindler, Katrina Swindler, Bonnie Byrd, Ray Byrd, Jesse Ginestar and Candace Ginestar; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Jaden, Alex, Maddie, Byron, Kalina, Kindan, Bella, Dean, Zarian, Jake and Jordon; and also Hildebrand. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
