It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert William Monson of Bend, Oregon, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Monson and Mary Monson; his brothers, Ed and Tom; his wife Esther Flower of Bend; and his children, Lance (Stacy Nestle), Shawn (Rachel) of Bend and Shannon Gilman (Robert) of Bend. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
