She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Barrett and Fannie E. Capshew; her husband Gordon Allen Rodgers; her sister Roberta Cottrell; and her close friend Sebastian.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Elliott, Jimmy Rodgers (Suzanne), Gordon Scott Rodgers (Cindy) and Angelia Altom (Danny); and her brother Wesley Wayne Barrett (Karen). She is also survived by many grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.
