He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambros Wendel and Cynthia Wendel. He is survived by: his wife Delphia "Delly" Wendel; his brother George (Susie); his children, Joseph Wendel, Ellinwood, Jacqueline Wendel of Branson, MO, Amber Petz (Chad), Renee Nugent (Todd), Atchison and Lynell Manning (Chad) of Dallas, TX; and his grandchildren, Joe Wendel, Jr., Shannon Cook (Landon), Kyler Castillo (Cammie), Lauren, Cole Petz, Sierra, Jalen, Sidney Scott and Brady Manning. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
