He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabrielle Combs (Britten) and Paul N. Britten; his parents-in-law, Keith Taylor and Frankie Taylor; and his brothers-in-law, Laurence Milton and Jim Midgley.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Joy Taylor; his children, Nina Sanders (Brian) and Keith Britten; his grandchildren, Ava and Jace Sanders; and his siblings, Pauletta Tompkins, Joetta Midgley, Rosetta Hennessee (George), Karlotta Milton (Burt Montague), Nick Britten (Manuela) and Benjamin Britten. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
