He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Willard and Francis "Maudine" Smart; his siblings, Mary Anne, James and Charlie; his sister-in-law Barbara; his nieces, Terri Smart, Dana Hoggard (Smart) and Tina Barnes; and his granddaughter Courtney Clausen.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Smart; his daughters, Stephanie Verge of Oklahoma City, Melissa Ramsey of Oklahoma City and Renee Koehn (Brian Koehn) of Oklahoma City; his sister Pam Evans (C. D.) of Marietta; his siblings-in-law, Jimmie Faye Smart of Fox and Jay Chambers of Enid; his grandchildren, Kristen Miles (Jordan), Britton Ramsey, Keleigh Woods (Kade) and Aubrey Koehn; and his great grandchildren, Mila Miles, Alyvia Woods and Madi Miles. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
