He was predeceased by: his son Cody Austin Bird; and his mother Linda Marie Grantz (Grantz). He is survived by: his father Edward Vernon Sams; his children, Tyler Bryce Halper (Sidney) and Shelby Nichole Hamilton; his sister Shala Marie Smith; and his grandchildren, Ashlyn Halper, Olive Halper and Chevy Halper. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
