He was predeceased by: his father James D. Berry, Sr.; his stepfather Larry Jacobs; and his close friends, Paul Benton, Gary Walker, Alan Schlarb, Gene Lewis and Danny Akin.
He is survived by: his mother Jackie Sue Urias Berry (Delk); his wife Elizabeth Berry; his daughter Leslie Tenille Wasemiller (Berry); his stepsons, Coby Pearce (Heather) and Jake Pearce; his siblings, Russell Berry, Cara Berry and Sherri Padgett (Paul); and his grandchildren, Payton A. Wasemiller, Austin T. Wasemiller, Connor Pearce and Weston Pearce. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
