He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Lehr and Lula Mae Lehr; his spouse Jean Marie Friend; his son Leroy; his sisters, Betty and Bonnie; and his daughters-in-law, Bonnie and Cindy.

He is survived by: his children, Greg (Gina), Albert and Carol (Mark); and his sisters, Lorita and Vernita. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren plus 23 great-grandchildren.
