He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Mathias and Ethel Baker (Speck); his children, Charles "Skip" Baker, Jr. and Sheri Arnold; and his siblings, Buddy Baker, Wayland Baker, Eva Mae Thomas, Mickey Patterson and Gwen Stallings.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Baker; his children, Randy Baker, Lesley Baker, Steve Vang, Kevin Vang, Debbie Farmer, Carol Childers, Darla Hulse, Erika Nelson and Fonda Hobbs; and his sister Opal Ragan. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
