She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Koeppen and Maureen Koeppen (Deweese); her husband Karey Don Hale; her sister Billie Jean Teagle; her uncles, William Deweese and Glenn Deweese; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Short and Jack Short.
She is survived by: her brother Robert Koeppen (Susan Koeppen); her daughter Kelley; her son-in-law David Conner; her daughter Shoy; her son-in-law Andy Hamilton; her grandchildren, Cody Conner, Sheri, Todd Moebes, Amanda, Jason Ecrette, Andrea, Ryan Kline, Clint, Emily Hamilton, Taylor Stoll and Gabriel Carrillo; her great grandchildren, Presli Moebes, Kadon Moebes, Keeli Moebes, Rori Kline, Nixon Ecrette, Tucker Ecrette and Andrew Hamilton; her nieces, Deborah Talbert (Travis Talbert), Rudena Cole (DC Cole) and Kelley Koeppen; and her nephew Christian Segura.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial in Betty's name to the Buffalo First Christian Church, Kibby Cemetery, or the Buffalo Fire Dept.
