He was predeceased by: his brother Randall Helt; his grandparents, Doris, Cecil Carter, Leroy Lair and Edith Helt; his uncle Marvin Lair; and his aunt Debbie Lair.
He is survived by: his adoptive father Tommy Helt; his wife Jackie Roach; his daughters, Danielle Helt, Randie and Kylie Helt; his niece Haley Friesen of Altus; his mother Janet Helt of Weatherford; his sister Tracy (Shane Brown) of Hydro; his grandfather Joe Helt; his son Dan; and his siblings-in-law, Jennifer (Robert Macauley) and Justin (Stacy Roach). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his name to the Christopher and Dana Reeves Paralysis Center or National Spinal Cord Injury Association.
