She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn B Smith and Elta Pearl Smith (Clay); and her brother Neil Smith. She is survived by: her husband Joe Shaffer; her children, Jennifer Barbee (Troy) of Yukon, Oklahoma and Billy Miller (Amber) of Yukon, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Rachel Barbee of Yukon, Oklahoma, Ryan Barbee of Yukon, Oklahoma, Colin Miller of Yukon, Oklahoma, Aidan Miller of Yukon, Oklahoma, Austin Miller of Yukon, Oklahoma and Kaylee Miller of Yukon, Oklahoma; her sister Nelda Clark (Ferris Jones) of Fay, Oklahoma; her sisters-in-law, Karen Smith of Edmond, Oklahoma and Susan Richardson (Preston) of Richmond, Texas; and her cousin Trleta Mickle of Hinton. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Russell-Murray Hospice, and the family would like to thank them for their support and compassion.
