With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max Watan (Weatherford, Oklahoma), who passed away on November 15, 2019 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Capacine Watan; his grandsons, Christopher Sage and Singing Bird Watan; and his siblings, Thomas Allen Watan, Sterling Watan, Lorraine Armstrong, Laverne Lime, Mary Belle Lone Bear and Minnie Alice Warden.
He is survived by: his wife Dorene Walter; his children, Chereesa Watan of El Reno, OK, Max Watan, III, Michael Watan, Geary, Aprill Watan, Ruben Watan and TuSheena Watan; and his adoptive children, Julia Tartsah, Jissena Mott and Terry Battiest. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
