It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Martin Sawatzky of Weatherford, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 13, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Ralph and Elsie Sawatzky (Penner); and his brothers, Richard and Orlie. He is survived by: his wife Doris Bourquin; his children, Phillip Lee Sawatzky of Weatherford and Darla Cheek (Jeff) of Oklahoma City; his siblings, Marion Sawatzky (Sandra) of Adams and Joann Meget (Mark) of Denton, Texas; his sister-in-law Grace Sawatzky of Weatherford; and his grandchildren, Jerry Ray "Trey" Ulrich III, Megan Nicole Rose and Stephanie Gierhart. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
