He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ray and Eva Mae Phillips (Maddux); his siblings, Ray Dean Phillips and Ramona Dubois; and his stepson Allen Lakins.
He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Brawner; his wife Barbara Phillips; his daughters, Kathy Guthrie (Vernon) of Oklahoma City, Vicky Flaming (Roger) of Lahoma and Connie Franklin (Randy) of Yukon; his stepson Ken Lakins (Guixiang) of Albuquerque; and his sister Verla Vaughan (Irving) of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Garland Road Baptist Church with the Billings Funeral Home, 1621 Downs Avenue, Woodward, OK. 73801 accepting the contributions.
