He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gaylord; his children, Rodney Phillips, Vanessa Jones of Dallas, TX, Charles "Chucky" Phillips of Dallas and Heather Chappelle of Los Angeles, CA; his siblings, Yvonne Phillips of Wichita, KS, Betty Twitty of Wichita, KS, Jean Spires of Wichita, KS, Martha Phillips of Midwest City, OK, Helen Taylor of Los Angeles, CA, Patricia Fox of Los Angeles, CA and Clarence Phillips of Springfield, MO; and his close friend Jerry Tyler. He is also survived by twenty three grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
