It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Davis in Valliant, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Reeves Davis and Agnes Leona Davis (Browning); and his brother George'Sonny man'Winfred Davis (Alene Davis). He is survived by: his wife Glenda Bailey; his children, Terry Davis Floyd (Mark) of Cartwright, OK, Darlene Davis of Colbert and Rod Davis (Brenda) of Pine Creek, OK; his grandchildren, Colt Floyd, Lauren Shields, Easton, Zoe Cardenas, Logan Davis (Sarah), Crystal Lopez (Juston), Stephen Clark (Ashley), Stephanie Colter (Nathan) and Shalan Prince (Wesley); his great grandchildren, Ethan, Trevor, Alicia, Farrah, Kinsler, Kennedy, Collin, Chandler, Brady, Bryant, Berkley, Lawson, Landi, Ryker and Rogan; his sister-in-law Shirley Sutton; his nieces and nephews, Dearla (Bobby), Shari Julian (Bruce) and Melanie Davis; his nephew Ants Gus Davis; and also Desarae.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be mailed to the Oklahoma Coaches Association Benefit Plan 8080 Crystal Park Drive Oklahoma City, OK 73139.

“To the Davis Family: My deepest condolences to the family off Coach Davis on behalf off myself (Kenneth Wilkinson) and family. I also want to apologize for not attending his funeral service as I would have had to travel from the Bahamas (which was my intent) but due to the services being held within days off his passing it hampered me not being able to attend! Coach Davis was like a second father to me during my tenure at USAO, 1982- 1986. May he R.I.P. 🙏🏿🙏🏿”
