With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene Hughes of Valliant, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 7, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Rieves and Elsie Rieves (Peden); her husband James Bailey "Bunch" Hughes; and her sister Dorothy Hester. She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Thompson (Larry) of Valliant, OK and Kathy Strickland (Larry) of Millerton, OK; her brother Larry Rieves of Shawnee, OK; her grandchildren, Kevin Harrison and Chris Strickland; her great grandchildren, Kirstyn Harrison and Kyler Harrison; and her great great grandchild Emma Harrison. She is also survived by loving mother to her children.
