He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Abbott and Jaunita Abbott (Towner); his stepfather Ward Trim; his son Clyde Abbott; his grandson Russell Abbott; his sister Erma Jean Robison; and his son-in-law Paul Harrington.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kathy" Burgan; his children, Sandy Harrington of Turpin, OK, Deborah Ranard of Upper Marlboro, MD, Steve Abbott of Tyrone, OK and Ronald Abbott of Colorado Springs, CO; and his sister Ruth Edwards of Colcord, OK.. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
