Gladys Shorney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Shorney in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, born in Cuba, Kansas, who passed away on June 30, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Svoboda and Tracy Svoboda (Havel); and her brothers, Melvin Svoboda, Lavern Svoboda and Earl Svoboda.
She is survived by: her husband John E. Shorney; and her sons, Guy Shorney (Sharon) of Tecumseh and Jay Shorney (Lynne) of Denton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to Heartland Hospice 2802 N Kickapoo Ave, Shawnee, Oklahoma, 74804.
