He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Parson and Erma Parson; his daughter Sabrina; his brother Don Gayland Parson; his adoptive parents, Chesley Parson (Bernice Parson) and Bernice Parson; his siblings, Katherine Woods of Aztec and Jack Parson of Shawnee, OK; his sister-in-law Lavon Parson of Eufaula, OK; his nieces and nephews, Tracey Parson of Oklahoma City, OK, Randall Parson of Shawnee, OK, Brian Rush of Moore, OK, David Rush of Ponca City, OK, Jerry Parson of Tecumseh, OK, Sabrina Bridges of Oklahoma City, OK and Tammy Hybarger of Eufaula, OK; and his son-in-law Kent Beaty (Mike Atencio) of Edmond, OK. He was also cherished by other extended family and friends.
