She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar O'Dolphus and Myrtle Barker (Torrence); her husband Willard Emzly Ward; and her daughter Nita Jo Haughey (Ward). She is survived by: her children, Cheryl J. Cartwright (Terry) and Willard "Greg" Ward (Jeannette); her sister Josephine Adams; her grandchildren, Shelton Ward, Nick Ward and Trinity Cartwright; and her great grandchildren, Elin, Corbin and Maura Ward.
