He is survived by: his wife Retha Guinn Carter; his children, Dewayne Carter (Cathy), Deborah Carter, Rebecca Thomas (Danny), Carla Keeter (Kevin), Patricia Incorvaia (Jason) and Trey Custer; and his sisters, Linda Hester (Terry) and Jan Thomas (Gary). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.
