She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Perry Jones Morris and Ora Beryl Howe Morris; her sisters, Helen Louise and Margaret Ann; her children, Pam Meyercord (David) and Bob Woods (Nickki); her sister-in-law Carolyn Riffel; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Bruant (Rob), Susan Meyercord, Martha Mattox (Aaron), Lucas Woods (Ashley), Lauren Woods, Heidi Gillespie, Riann Grigsby and Rob Swearingen (Day). She was also cherished by her eighteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Catesby United Methodist Church and the Shattuck Senior Center.
