He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Cranford and Wilma Jean Cranford (Van Cleave); and his wife Charlene Leonard. He is survived by: his children, Terrie Cranford of Seminole and Robert Cranford of Seminole; his grandson Tyler Cranford (Ayla) of Perry; and his siblings, Wanda Ice of Stonewall, Pat Holmes of Stonewall, Edna Thompson (Carl) of Fittstown, Mary Stone (Tim) of Stonewall, Weldon Cranford (Barbara) of Ada, Bob Cranford (Ella) of Ahloso and Dewayne Cranford of Stonewall.
