She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ong and Ella Mae Moore; her husband Edward Dodson; her son Michael Dodson; and her siblings, Bertie Mae Ong and Bobby Joe Ong.
She is survived by: her children, JoElla Sawyer of Ada, OK and Gene Dodson (Shelly) of Shawnee, OK; her nephew Tony Ong (JoElla Harrison); and also, Tony, Marla Chesser and Larry Chesser Sr.. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grand children, and great great grandchildren.
