He was predeceased by: his parents, Konstantinos and Irene; and his sister Jo Ann Fotopulos. He is survived by: his wife Tasia; his daughter Irene Gianos; his son-in-law Peter Gianos; his grandchildren, Margo and Kosta; and his sister Aphrodite Kartalias of Greece. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. George Greek Orthodox Church Memorial Fund in his name.
