He is survived by: his wife Wanda Joyce Rinehart; his sister Ann Minyard of Norman; his sons, Jerry Minyard (Lorrie) of Lexington and Randy Minyard (Julie) of Stratford; and his grandchildren, Krista Minyard O'Neal, Isauro Trejo of Lexington, Shelly Knight and Johnny of Lexington, Thirteen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
