She was predeceased by: her parents, John Murl Short and Pauline Short (New); her children, Deanna Jones and Keith Tate; her grandson Justin Tate; and her brothers, Melvin Short and Thurman Short.
She is survived by: her husband Nolan Tate; her sons, Eldon Tate (Kristi) of Purcell and Kevin Tate; her siblings, Murlene Faulkenberry (Harold) of Lexington, Alice McKelvain (Tom) of Lindsay, Benny Short of Norman and Larry Short (Pam) of Slaughtersville; and her grandchildren, Jade Tate Stow, Jalyn Tate, Shawn Blackmon, Shelby Blackmon, Karrie Tate, Karissa Jones and Kelsey Hyatt.
