He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Eugene Caves and Maudie Louise Hendrix; his siblings, Donna Anderson, Mary Rice, Houston Perkins and Mary Ann Perkins; his grandsons, Walter A. Jackson and Walker E. Jackson; and his great grandchild Bennett Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Jackson; his children, Damon Jackson (Joyce) of Carson City, Nevada, Eric Jackson (Peg) of Winnemucca, Nevada and Valerie Albert (Gene) of Pryor, Oklahoma; and his sister Kathryn Jane Jones of Lindsay, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Walter's memory to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
