It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thersey M. Steward (Pryor, Oklahoma), born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pettit and Wanda Pettit (Lackey); her significant other Lonnie Steward; and her father-in-law Ray Steward. She is survived by: her daughter Janean Markle (Kenneth) of Pryor; her grandchildren, Angie Hagan (Chandler) of Oklahoma City and Seth Markle of Pryor; her mother-in-law Patsy Steward; and her sister Nancy Phipps. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
