He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Mae Melugin (Campbell) and Bill Melugin; his brother Donald Melugin; his nephew Brooks Davis; his niece Christine Brooks; and his brothers-in-law, George Swift and Arnold Erickson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Melugin; his children, Robert Melugin (Phylicia) of Pryor and Leigh Melugin-Johnson (Curtis) of Claremore, Oklahoma; his sisters, Juanita Erickson of Concord, Beverly Melugin (Joe Wiseman) of Pleasanthill and Maj-Brit Melugin (Bill Vaughn) of Lafayette; his siblings-in-law, Dan and Sheila Brooks of Salado; his grandchildren, Jarrod Melugin (Sara), Natalie Martin (Jerrod), Seth Johnson (Becky Zawalski), Ashtin Johnson, Maggie Melugin and John Melugin; and his great grandchildren, Jace Melugin, Kale Melugin, Zane Melugin, Piper Martin, Maverick Martin and Mayce Martin.
