It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Inez Vernon (Pryor, Oklahoma), born in Yukon, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Watt and Edith Watt (Purdin); her siblings, Paul Watt, Wayne Watt, Laverne Watt, Marion Shumaker and Pat McBrien; and her son Robert Vernon (Duane).

She is survived by: her husband Robert H. Vernon; her siblings, Donald Watt and Virginia Hanes; her son Mike (Juanita Vernon); and also, Shauvan Vernon and Marsha (Danny Gross). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
