He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Clay and Cordelia Hobgood; and his wife Mattie Hobgood. He is survived by: his brother Bobby Lloyd Hobgood; his children, Lori Ann and Dennis; his siblings, Robert Clay Hobgood, Mary Beal, Dorothy Mae, Wilda Lee, La Vern Brooks, Sarah E and Shirley Ann; his pet Sammy; his close friend Donna McKee; his son Roger Hobgood (Norma); his grandchildren, Millie, Forrest and Spencer of Sapulpa; his daughter-in-law Chris Hobgood; his grandsons-in-law, Brian and Adam of Colorado; and also Bobby Lloyd Hobgood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
