He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter (Jake) and Rowena Rhodes (Davis); his wife Reba Rhodes (Naugle); his siblings, Linda Smigiel and Randy Rhodes; and his son-in-law Mike Ragsdale.
He is survived by: his children, David Rhodes (Bonnie), Lisa Tolbert, Lori Ragsdale and Rose; his grandchildren, Wesley, Bethanie Rhodes, Darrick, Caitline Rhodes, Justina Rhodes, Jake Tolbert (Kayla Morgan), Taylor Ragsdale, Michaela, Preston Johnson and Kasey Ragsdale; his great grandchildren, Karson Ragsdale, Evelyn Johnson, Jonathan Rhodes, Addison Rhodes, Maggie Rhodes and Andy Jo Rhodes; and his siblings, Doug Rhodes, Jack Rhodes, Phillip Rhodes (Irene), Ruth Brickey, Carolyn Applegate, Phyllis (Leon Adams) and Dorothy DeCamp (Gail). He is also survived by nine brothers and sisters.
