She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Teter and Lucille Teter (Tramel); her husbands, Cotton Bateman and Ledgel Taylor; her daughter Tammy Bateman; and her siblings, Linda Wolf, JoAnn Walls, Bill Teter, Amos Teter, Bud Teter and Donna Edgerton.

She is survived by: her children, Dan Bateman of Valley Mills and Teresa Bateman of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; her siblings, Judy Brown of Greenwood and Debi Weatherly of Decatur, Texas; her grandchildren, Katelyn, Candice and Tess Bateman; and her great grandchild Seamus.
