He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Smith and Iva Smith; his wife Maureen Allen-Smith; his daughter-in-law Chiquita Shields; his granddaughters, Armahni and Ki'Essence Shields; his children, CoCo and Awntwan Shields (Chiquita Shields); his grandchildren, Keyton, Jayden, Jaxen and Mikayla; his sisters, Anna Mae Jones and JoAnn Smith; his former wife Iva Smith; and his siblings, Jackie Mae Colbert, Mable Gardner-Smith, Dillard Smith, James Smith and Jody Smith. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
