He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Story and Julia Story (Moore); and his siblings, Archie Dean Story, Jack Story, Edna Faye Morgan, Junior Story and Mose Story.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Story of Okmulgee; his sons, Larry Story (Trish) of Edna, Oklahoma, Gary Story (Cheryl) of Beggs, Oklahoma and Donny Story (Cheryl) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Lisa Varner (Pokey) of Bristow, Dana Atwell (Josh) of Okmulgee, Jeremy Story (Jennifer) of Fayetteville, Kyle Story (Laura) of Fayetteville, Brandon Story (Kristin) of Beggs and Clark Story of Okmulgee; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Sadie Varner, Jobe, Brody Atwell, Hannah, Hayley Story, Josiah Story, Mattie and Blake Story. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
