He was predeceased by: his parents, Chiley McGirt and Eliza McGirt (Puntka); his siblings, Jimmy McGirt, William McGirt, Emma Frank, Togie Harjo, Elsie Faulkner and Ella Coon; and his grandsons, Jason McGirt and Joseph Bowen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joyce Bowen of Mount Vernon, WA., Beverly (Saleh Ahmed) of Moore, Martha McGirt of Moore and Karen McGirt Gigo (Robert Gigo) of Mount Vernon, WA.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
