Esther Louise Welcher Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021, at the age of 95, Esther Louise Welcher of Okemah, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Harris and Letha Harris (Owen); her husband James Verlon Welcher; and her siblings, Vearl Harris, Ernie Harris, Melvin Harris, Esta Welcher and Ethel Clay.
She is survived by: her friend Dorothy; her children, Racy Welcher (Linda) of Punta Gorda, Dobie Welcher (Susan) of Okemah and Sheila Welcher of Edmond, Oklahoma; her siblings, Joe, Leon, Kelly and Erma Jean McFarland; and her grandchildren, Tina (Ryan Smith), Michelle (Scott Hessman), Summer (David Smith) and Rachael (Adam Cooper). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Okemah (ARLO).
