She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Harden and Amy Clyde Finkenbinder (Kellum); and her husband Franklin J. Appl. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Janette, Virginia Annette (Keith Meurer), Kathy and Kathryn Louise Appl; her sister Pauline Fecht; her granddaughters, Lya Trammell and Kacey Meurer; and her great grandchild Anabel Trammell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and their children.
She was also a member of the Disciples Student Foundation, where she met Franklin J. Appl in a musical group.
