She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fritz Conrad Thorns and Jeneva Stephanie Thorns (Maczynski); her former husband Rex Brown; her husband John Hendricks; and her sons, Jeff Brown (Shirley) and Randy Brown (Cindy).

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Helen's name to the Integris Cancer Center.
